Published membership and watch group definitions on our Policies page.
This outlines that we can only accept those as members – whether they are individuals or groups – who work within confined geographical areas.
That is reasoned in the fact that we work together with local authority and police force, who themselves are confined to fixed local areas.
We mainly accept members of OWL and or Ourwatch as both systems are run by police approved data controllers. But all member applications must be accompanied by proof of identity and address.
Your registration on OWL or Ourwatch does not automatically approve you for Neighbourhood Watch Association membership.
Ourwatch does not check your authenticity when you register.
We shortly publish a membership application form for the Association but in the meantime you may email us with copy of passport, proof of address and details of your watch activities.
