Previously the Met Police local officers SNT from Safer Neighbourhood Teams would assess and recruit Neighbourhood Watch coordinators. Now we recruit the Neighbourhood Watch coordinators. Our volunteers register with Ourwatch and we support the local co-ordinators to support local communities. Help us print leaflets for local communities.
We actively lobby organisations to change their methods to improve results for community policing and two-way communications between police and residents.
We negotiate with PCC, MOPAC, Safer Neighbourhood Board and the local Council, the Home Office and the National Neighbourhood Watch Network Ourwatch, GLA. We constantly monitor the market for new security methods to increase people’s safety.

We need support to create effective community cohesion, to work for the good of us all. We want to support local communities. Helping people to talk to each other to create functioning communities and create better societies with less crime. We regularly create campaigns to help local communities and support the campaigns of the National Neighbourhood Watch Network.
