Ward panels are organised in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police but run by volunteers, who attend the panel meetings.
To be considered for a ward panel please contact in the first instance your local Safer Neighbourhood Team SNT and or register on Ourwatch as Neighbourhood Watch coordinator. We’ll then contact your local SNT team and recommend your membership in the SNT ward panel.
We can send out all SNT Team newsletters directly to your watch group on request if you are a watch coordinator registered on Ourwatch.
Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNTs)
As well as reporting through the 101 number the local Safer Neighbourhood Teams can also be contacted to report ASB. These are a team of Met Police Officers and Community Support Officers dedicated to serving the local community. If they are on shift and available, the team will respond to ASB incidents. If the teams are not on duty at the time, a voicemail can be left which the team will respond to when next on duty. You can also email your concerns to the SNT, however in an emergency always dial 999.
Tower Hamlets has 20 Safer Neighbourhood Teams. Details to make contact with the Safer Neighbourhood Teams can be found in the table below:
