Safer Neighbourhoods

Tower Hamlets is currently divided into 20 Safer Neighbourhoods, which each one having their dedicated SNT policing team. All Neighbourhood Watch scheme coordinators registered with the THNWA, must contact their local SNT Team with their details if they have not already done so. If you are not sure which area or ward you live in, go to the Met Police website and insert your post code into the ‘find your area’ search box. You will then be re-directed to your local team.

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime MOPAC funds the Safer Neighbourhood Boards, which has representatives of all SNT Panels. We recommend that all our coordinators seek to become members of their local SNT Ward Panel and sit on it in rotation.
